An evening or afternoon just for you. The studio is all yours.

You'll dye with plants, blossoms, and natural materials, which are placed directly onto the fabric, bound, and fixed with steam. What emerges cannot be fully planned – each piece is unique.

Color through chemistry – visible in real-time.

Certain plant dyes react to pH changes: with acid, they turn pink or purple, with a base, they shift to blue or green. This shift happens before your eyes – first on the color chart made of watercolor paper, then on the T-shirt. Not as an effect, but as a principle. You understand what you are doing.

How it works.

You will be welcomed with a glass of natural wine – or an alcohol-free alternative. Then we'll begin.

We start with a brief introduction: Which plants we use, how they react, what happens during steaming. Wear old clothes and dark shoes – plant dyes leave traces.

First, you create a color chart on watercolor paper. You place plants on it, moisten them, add acid or base – and watch the colors shift. This way, you develop a feel for the materials before moving on to the T-shirt.

Then we sprinkle, bind, wrap, arrange. The fabric goes into the steam. What develops inside only reveals itself upon opening.

We take care of all the post-processing: washing out, fixing, ironing. T-shirt and color chart. After approx. 10 days, you can pick up your items or we can send them to you.

FAQ

Do we need to bring anything?

No. All textiles and materials are included.

Can I take my t-shirt with me right away?

No. The textiles remain in the studio after the workshop and are washed and fixed there. After approx. 10 days, they are ready for collection or we will send them to you.

What does "pre-stained" mean?

The t-shirt was treated with a mordant before the workshop — this is a natural binder that ensures the plant dyes adhere better and last longer. We take care of that for you in advance.

Can I bring my own plants and/or flowers?

Yes, please contact us briefly beforehand. Not all plants are suitable for bundle dyeing – we will help you assess what works.

What is a pH shift?

Certain plant dyes change color depending on the acid or base value of the solution. With citric acid, they turn pink or purple; with baking soda, they shift to blue or green. You'll see this live – first on the color chart, then on the fabric.

Are there parking spaces?

Parking is limited. Public transport is recommended.
