The Nettle Capsule

At the end of April, we headed to the allotment garden with scissors and gloves. Harvesting nettles before the first larvae appear is the only time that counts.
Our nettle collection was created from this harvest. Each piece is hand-dyed with locally sourced nettles. Additionally, each item features a cyanotype print, a leaf impression, exposed with sunlight instead of printed.
T-shirts and tote bags, dyed with what grows on our doorstep. Natural dyes instead of chemicals, handmade instead of mass-produced.
