Made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Pre-washed and pre-mordanted with natural metal salts so that the plant dyes penetrate deep into the fibers and really last.
You choose it on-site at the studio — we take care of the rest.

Our clothing is made from high-quality organic cotton – soft, durable and comfortable to wear.
Depending on the style, the cut can be classic, loose, or fitted. Fabric weights vary between 155 and 350 g/m².
All pieces are pre-washed, pre-treated and dimensionally stable.
After dyeing, please wash separately, preferably at 30–40°C using ecological detergent.
We use aluminum triformate – a gentle cold stain that ensures that plant dyes adhere better and shine permanently.

We source the goods directly, prepare them in our studio and package them plastic-free.

The pieces are made from certified organic cotton and are fairly produced – durable, high-quality and ideal for dyeing with natural dyes.
Your blanks are packaged plastic-free – in paper bags, tissue paper or envelopes.
We ship locally from Cologne, or you can pick up your order directly from the studio.

Stained – what does that actually mean?
In order for plant dyes to adhere permanently to textiles, preparation is sometimes required – the so-called mordant.
Cosmaki offers you two options:
- Unmordified: Ideal for indigo or if you want to mordant yourself
- Stained: Prepared with a cold stain, ready to dye directly for madder, onion skin, avocado, cutch & Co.
