Unlike adult coloring, the raw material is already included in the price here. Simply choose the right size or the jute bag.
Kids' Workshop: Children dye a pre-prepared T-shirt or jute bag with real plants using the bundle dye technique. All inclusive, no prior knowledge necessary.

Water for the kids – Filter coffee by ERNST for the parents

Here's how it works:
01 — Select T-shirt size or jute bag and book ticket
02 — Arrive. Raw materials are ready, supplies are prepared
03 — Color chart on watercolor paper. Before you start on the fabric, try out the colors of the day, to take home if you like
04 — Place plants, blossoms, and extracts on the fabric, roll up, tie
05 — Steam
06 — Break
07 — Unroll and marvel. You take the piece directly with you, still damp, protected in a bag
A clearly guided introduction to natural dyeing.
During the dyeing session, children design their own T-shirt with real plants, flowers, and natural materials.
We work with the bundle-dye technique:
lay, tie, steam, unwrap. The process is simply structured and easy for children to understand.
The group size is intentionally kept small.
This allows each child to work independently and receive support if needed.
After the design phase, the textiles are steamed for approximately 30 minutes.
During this time, there will be a break.
Please bring something for this break:
Snacks, drinks (water available on site) or a quiet activity (e.g., coloring book, pens, small game).
Finally, the textiles are unwrapped.
The shirts are still slightly damp and will be fully dried at home.
Each child also receives a brief care instruction for aftercare, so that the textile is properly treated at home.

Why do I need one ticket per child?
We prepare each raw material individually. Simply select the appropriate t-shirt size at checkout.
What happens if my child makes a mess?
That's part of it. It's best to wear old clothes; we have aprons on site.
When do we get the finished piece?
You take it with you directly, still damp. You wash and fix it yourself at home; all the steps for this can be found on our care instructions page.
This is how the pattern is created
Children decide for themselves: leaves, blossoms, shapes. We show the technique – the design is free. No pressure, no 'right or wrong'.
Pause during steaming time
While the pieces are being dyed in the steamer, you can pop outside: in front of the studio (car-free on weekends) or 10 minutes towards Kalker Hauptstraße.
